So Mir's HH OC is half-seraph, which is an Angel with six wings. Whenever he gets stressed out, his wings begin to pop, and how he tries to put them back is using his powers. The marks on him are his power, and he's getting really stressed out trying to put them back. Since he's a formerly heavenly being, he's forever caught between the duality of what he was and where he is.
